Nature Kicks and its partners use only top of the range equipment for all its activities. Our number one aim is safety for our customers and so, by investing in the best outdoor gear we can assure this and at the same time give you the best possible adventure experience.
Sometimes known as as “Long Johns”. These may either be 3mm or 5mm thick depending on the weather and time of year. Neoprene is a fantastic type of material which warms up from the heat the body releases. All you require under one of these is your swimwear.
Also called river booties or water booties. The material is very similar to the neoprene overalls and similarly, gets wet on the inside and the body/feet warms it up.
Neoprene gloves and hood are only required at our coldest water activities at the crystal clear glacial water lake of Þingvellir. As per the other neoprene gear above, they get wet and then warm.
Sometimes known as dry kags. These are parkas that have seals on the neck and hand openings. The idea and purpose of this equipment is to keep the upper body semi-dry and and due to the nature of rivers and the amount of time spent it one having fun, there’s no guarantee in staying dry completely. Under these splash tops we recommend adventurers to wear warmer clothing. I.e a base layer of shirt and a sweater on top made of wool or fleece.
These suits are used to keep people dry for prolonged periods in water. They will be supplied to you whilst on an amazing trip snorkelling or diving.
If you have planned a climbing adventure, Nature Kicks and partners will supply shoes for rock climbing, all necessary ropes and harnesses. For ice climbing, ice axes and crampons will be supplied along with any other equipment required for your safety.
Every participant is required to wear a helmet supplied if required for a trip. Safety is our number one priority.
Safety is our number one priority. Life Jackets known as PFDs (Personal flotation device) are given to each participant according to individual weight and size. When supplied for any particular trip, it must be worn.
Nature Kicks and outdoor partners supply everything needed to have a fantastically fun, safe and comfortable adventure, but participants will need to bring the following: Swimming wear, warm clothing and a towel when kayaking, rafting or canoeing.
