Watch the steam rising from the hot springs, and lava fields covered in green carpets of moss, the majestic basalt mountains rising out of the ground. Your carefully selected landing zone is well off the regular tourist routes. Pristine and untouched by human presence, you will walk where very few people have walked before.
You can imagine you have taken a trip back in time as you enjoy the peaceful natural surroundings. A word of caution here, the places where we go are off the regular tourist routes, and there are no safety ropes or other such signs of human intervention.
From the boiling mud pools of Hengill to the sheep grazing in the lush green pastures, there is always something unexpected around the corner. On this tour, you will witness the dazzling colour and sheer magic of the lava fields and craters as the helicopter takes you to the sights which include Hellisheiði Plateau, Bláfjöll mountain range, Reykjavik City, Hengill Geothermal Area plus much more.
